Meeting
 
Next meeting Thursday 13th there is no meal or meeting at T&C, we will be planting the daffodil bulbs on the riverbank from 5:30pm and takeaway dinner after at Joan's. Try to bring a crowbar to make planting the bulbs easier! In case of bad weather, will postpone planting until Saturday 15th after fertiliser bagging.
 
President Donna has received a letter advising Rotary meals have reduced to $18 effective immediately.
 
The next meeting at T&C on Thursday 20th is the DG visit and loud shirt / superhero night. Guests welcome, attendance pins and new member badges will be presented. Directors meeting after.
PROJECTS
On Saturday, Peter, Rebecca, Ali, Lynda, and Stu helped with planting another 750 plants along the main highway at Pan Pac Milburn.
 
RYDA is Tuesday 25th September at Telford 8:30am-2:30pm, volunteers see Wayne. Directors have approved a $1000 donation to RYDA.
 
Fertiliser Drive has 90 orders with over $4000 income. Bagging on Saturday 15th September at Fergus'.
 
Big Blood Pressure Check will be on Saturday 6th of October, Stu will be co-ordinating.

Rotary National Science & Technology Forum application forms have been distributed to schools in Clutha district out to Catlins and Lawrence.
 
Pauline thanks the many hands that helped speech competition run smoothly.

The prize winners of the Year 7 & 8 Speech Competition this week performed their speeches again with some convincing views on big topics! A lot of research and practice had gone in to these speeches, congratulations to:
