Don introduced our fellow club member Dianne who spoke to us about the upcoming Clutha Culture Feast in her role as CDSS (Clutha District Settlement Support) Chair.
Celebrating the diversity of the Clutha District, this will be the 5th year of the Clutha Culture Feast providing opportunties for fundraisers to hold a variety of food stalls alongside entertainment providers including cultural groups, buskers and the Balclutha Pipe Band.
As available, the Rotary Club will be providing salmon parcels for sale – Thank You to Peter B. Fundraising from these sales will be donated directly back to CDSS which Dianne thanked the club for.
Dianne further outlined the tasks and timeframes involved for this event to be held at the Balclutha Recreation Centre on Friday 17 May from 6-8.30pm.
Dianne appreciates our Rotary Club’s continuing volunteer assistance and support of this event as a CDSS partner and welcomes the Club to publicise themselves as such on the evening.
